Advancing Vaginal Health Through Education
At Vaginal Biome Science (VBS), education is the foundation of our mission. Despite more than 500 billion dollars in annual medical spending on women’s health in the United States, vaginal health remains one of the most misunderstood, misdiagnosed, and underserved areas of care. Many of the most common conditions affecting women such as bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections, urinary tract infections, vulvodynia, and lichen sclerosus are linked to imbalances in the vaginal microbiome. Yet, for decades, the standard of care has remained largely unchanged.
We believe that the vaginal microbiome holds the key to transforming this landscape.
By elevating awareness, providing access to data-driven tools, and supporting clinical and consumer education, we are helping build a future where vaginal health is better understood, effectively treated, and fully integrated into mainstream women’s healthcare.
